Mr. Adorjan
joined Stonington Partners as a Management Partner in November 1999. He was
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Borg-Warner Security Corporation, a
leading provider of security services, from 1995 through 1999. Prior to
joining Borg-Warner, Mr. Adorjan was President of Emerson Electric Company
from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Adorjan was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
ESCO Electronics, a spin-off of Emerson’s government and defense business,
from 1990 to 1992. From 1968 to 1990, Mr. Adorjan held a variety of
management and executive positions with Emerson Electric in finance,
international, planning, acquisition and technology functions. He is
currently a director of the following Stonington portfolio company: Goss
International Corporation. |
